Earle Family of Sheffield

Note

According to a note by Patricia Earl there is a story in the family that the Carlise Earls are related to the Hull Earles arising from a falling out in the family at some stage when a family member had gone off to Hull and added an "e" to his name to distinguish himself from the Carlisle Earls

My own research shows both Henry and Ann pre-date the move of the Earles from York to Hull by several decades so if there is any truth in the story then perhaps the Carlise Earls are related to the York Earles

Included here are also family records of Robert Earle born in Hull in 1819 who moved to Sheffield c1840
