This section of the website includes details of Kathleen (Kitty) Leyburn of East Layton and her ancestors whose family line extends back in time through the Yorkshire villages of East layton and Gilling West and Auckland St Andrew, Kirk Merrington and Hamsterley in County Durham.
Kathleen Leyburn is connected to the Earle family of Yorkshire through her marriage to Bryan Earl at Fawcett nr Richmond in 1927
